Advocacy

PA Nepal is an active member of NCPD (Network of Children, Prisoners and Dependants) and works closely with other NGO organizations within Nepal that are working in the same field. We have arranged for the training of children moving out of homes with UCEP (Underprivileged Children's Education Programme).

In addition, PA Nepal has worked with the PRI (Prison Reform International) in campaigning to improve prison conditions around the world and Ms Indira Ranmagar is a regular consultant to the organization.

PA Nepal actively advocates for the most vulnerable in gaol. It has run campaigns for women imprisoned for abortion and was heavily involved in a recent seminar in Nepal on the mentally ill in prison.
